Meet the Maker
Hello Friends. I’m Lorri, founder of Mabon House. I write about intentional living and how to find clarity, purpose and joy by connecting to the natural rhythm of the changing seasons. I also share pretty printables for the Wheel of the Year, which you can find in the free Member’s Library and through my Etsy Shop.
When I’m not writing for Mabon House, you can find me puttering around my old Maine farmhouse, wearing sensible cardigans and drinking lots of tea.
The Official Bio
Lorri Shields Brown is a writer and blogger with 20 years of experience in digital media and design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Master’s degree in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University.
An early adopter of online media, Lorri has helped launch numerous websites and media campaigns for both the private and public sector. She is a leading community advocate for rural development and entrepreneurship in Maine and is passionate about helping rural women build successful businesses.
Lorri launched Mabon House in 2019, which quickly became one of the most popular new age lifestyle blogs on the Internet. The Mabon House community currently has over 10,000 subscribers. Lorri writes from the heart with authenticity and joy, sharing personal experiences, observations and practical advice for cultivating a more intentional life.
